VeriLocation meets the criteria as laid down within the “draft industry guidelines for the use of mobile phone technology to provide passive location services”.

VeriLocation operates a security policy whereby the mobile phone numbers of End Users are held on a central database. This database holds the contact information of the Customer against the mobile number and unique ID. Where a new Customer adds the same mobile number onto a new account, the VeriLocation system automatically sends an e-mail to both Customers detailing that such an action has taken place by naming both the number and the Customer ID’s. No customer personal information is provided. The same correspondence invites both Customers to contact our help desk where a Customer has a concern that the other Customer maybe conducting inappropriate tracking of the said mobile.
