Your customer calls in with a job request. Automatic recognition of delivery site details allows the job to be quickly and efficiently processed within the Transport Management System.
Jobs organised into shortest and quickest routes using our Route Optimisation software and then assigned to vehicles and drivers.
Driver logs on to Android tablet Driver Dashboard and receives first job containing pre-set route, job details and planned arrival time. Upon acceptance of the job, head office is notified to the change in job status and the driver is taken onto the navigation page to start his journey. The onboard GPS vehicle tracking device allows head office to track the vehicle’s wherebaouts in real-time.
Driver arrives at site. Entry into Geofence alerts head office of his arrival. POD signature is captured and streamed in real-time to web account using handheld Android device. Condition of delivery also captured using tablet camera and sent to web account.
Before accepting his next job, the driver checks his remaining Tacho hours for the day. The application tells him his next break must be taken within the hour & how many hours remain as part of the Working Time Directive.
To sign off at the end of his shift, the driver must first review his overall driving performance for that day. (Instantaneous feedback of driving behaviour results in safer and more efficient driving techniques.) Once reviewed, driver logs out and head office is notified.
With real-time POD streaming back to head office, jobs can be easily processed and invoiced within in minutes of completion. This high speed feature streamlines all of the back office processes and provides an efficient customer service.
