VL-Solo independent battery powered GPS tracking unit

 Where the monitoring of high value trailer loads or assets is required in real time independent of any other GPS systems & where no continuous supply of power is available.

VL-Solo provides up to 18 months of monitoring on one single charge use 1,800 mA of lithium battery power.

The device has mounting lugs to provide easy under-chassis fixing with just two screws.

IP67 provides full water-proofing even in the most exposed of conditions such as winter haulage.

Separate power loom plug allows for “trickle charge” from side lights or pin4 on the Susie connector whilst retaining water proofness. Extra power therefore allows for tracking frequency to be raised to required level.

Perfect for tracking assets and equipment that may be left unattended for long periods in harsh conditions.

How it works:

• It will wake periodically to send it's location to reassure you that your equipment is exactly where you left it.
• Whenever there is movement, the accelerometer allows VL-solo to wake up and give you minute-by-minute tracking.
• If there is no movement for 5 minutes, VL-solo will go to sleep.

The highly sensitive, 3-axis accelerometer allows VL-solo to:

• Alert you to any unauthorised movements of your vehicles / equipment
• If your vehicle / equipment is moved - even with the engine off – VL-solo will alert you and track the journey.

Durable IP67 Casing

VL-solo is vibration tested an IP67 waterproof, dustproof and ruggedised casing.

• Makes the unit ideal for use on assets exposed to the elements.
• Perfect on plant and agricultural equipment which vibrate heavily.

Internal Antennas with excellent GPS performance

• Internal GPS and GSM antennas mean that covert installation on the exterior of equipment is possible.
• Powerful GPS performance means that VL-Solo works perfectly underneath a trailer (will even work in the trunk of a car!).
