VeriLocation assisted in 2012 Olympic bid using GPS tracking
Sir Keith Mills, a key figure in the London 2012 campaign has revealed that GPS tracking was used to assist in showing IOC officials that Londpn's transport network could flow without congestion by using the second by second whereabouts of officials vehicles to change traffic lights at key times.
We can now reveal that VeriLocation provided the system to Transport for London as part of this exercise now that it has come into the open arena.
So maybe in some small way VeriLocation helped secure the 2012 bid for London !
