Leading fleet management solutions provider Isotrak Group, on the back of its recent ISO accreditation announcements and news of record sales growth, has today announced an innovative and ground-breaking partnership across Europe with Renault Trucks through its Verilocation offering.
Isotrak Group – which has transformed over the past 18 months following the acquisitions of Verilocation and Breathalyser Immobilisation specialists Alcolock GB – will be the software and service integrator for the first LCV OEM Telematics system branded as ‘Renault Trucks Vantelligence, powered by Verilocation’.
In a move described by Renault as the “first of its kind”, LCV operators will now be able to benefit from Isotrak Group’s market-leading fleet performance and data technologies currently deployed to great effect by a large number of UK and International HGV fleets.
“Following on from the existing business relationship with the Isotrak Group, as part of our HGV Transport Solutions proposition and having extensively assessed the market, Verilocation was an obvious fit for Renault Trucks. Their systems, technology and our ongoing relationship in other areas of our range meant that we could provide our customers with a technologically advanced and scalable solution that means Renault Trucks can enjoy for the first time a class leading integrated telematics proposition,” commented Grahame Neagus, Head of LCV – UK & Ireland Trucks UK
UK LCV fleet numbers have surged in the past few years, but these fleets have hitherto been unable to benefit from the cost, safety and efficiency solutions that HGV fleet have developed and deployed so successfully. By activating the ‘Vantelligence’ system – users can expect a gain of up to 9% fuel efficiency savings and improved safety standards by promoting more effective driving techniques and through the availability to fleet operators and their drivers of ‘real-time performance data’.
“The Vantelligence telematics system, powered by Verilocation, offers all operators of Renault Trucks Master products, a unique opportunity to be able to gather, analyse and use in a pro-active manner both vehicle and driver information in the pursuit of lower operating costs and increased driver safety,” explained Neagus.
Jim Sumner, Chairman of Isotrak Group commented, “This partnership represents a significant milestone in the execution of our strategy to serve all levels of the commercial fleet market, both aftermarket and OEM, as well as HGV, LCV, Passenger Transport and Plant & Equipment. We have invested heavily in developing and bringing to market a broad suite of fleet management software functionality positioning Isotrak Group at the forefront of the Sector’s technology and innovation”
